Biodance’s New PDRN Serum Is an $18 Skin Booster in a Bottle

PDRN is rampant in the skin-care space these days, and for good reason. Used in regenerative medicine and aesthetic treatments for years in South Korea, the buzzy ingredient not only supports collagen production and optimal hydration levels in the skin, but also improves overall skin quality. The right formula can translate to skin that looks smoother and firmer with that healthy-looking glow we all want. Biodance understood the assignment with its new Rejuvenating Caviar PDRN Serum ($18), which I can’t get enough of. Here’s my honest review.

The Benefits of Biodance’s Rejuvenating Caviar PDRN Serum

Designed around the idea of a skin booster, this serum combines high-purity liposomal salmon PDRN with a super high concentration (67 percent) of caviar water. Together, they nourish the skin while also boosting radiance, firmness and resilience. And of course, in true PDRN product fashion, you’re also getting barrier-supporting ingredients like panthenol, squalane and guaiazulene (a derivative of azulene, which gives the formula its pastel purple tint).

The syringe-style applicator lets you dispense precise drops, and the brand recommends using three pumps per day (there are exactly 90 pumps in the bottle, so this gives you a one-month supply). For me, three pumps is the perfect amount to cover my whole face once a day. If you’re just using it on a specific area, like your forehead or your smile lines, you could use one or two. The serum has a nice gel-cream texture that applies smoothly and isn’t sticky. It’s also fragrance-free, which I appreciate (and something I love about most K-beauty skin-care products).

In clinical testing, after four weeks of consistent use, improvements were seen across all six measures of skin quality: hydration, moisture barrier, density, firmness, texture and radiance. The serum strengthened the skin barrier, visibly plumped the skin, soothed irritation and redness, and smoothed uneven skin texture. I’ve been using the serum for two weeks and definitely see an improvement in a few of my top concerns—primarily redness, skin texture and hydration. That signature Biodance glow is obvious, too. How is this less than $20?
